Day 1. St Petersburg
Upon your arrival in St Petersburg, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel for check in. (Check in is available from 2.00pm). Evening at leisure.

St Petersburg City Tour
During your memorable sightseeing tour guided by our professional guide enjoy the most remarkable architectural ensembles of St Petersburg: Palace Square and Winter Palace, Spit of the Vasilievsky Island, University Embankment, Main Building of the State St Petersburg University, Admiralty, Senat Square, Monument to Peter the Great (Bronze Horseman), St Isaac Cathedral and St Isaac’s Square, Field of Mars and Summer Gardens, Cruiser Aurora, Smolny Cathedral.
City sightseeing tour continues by visiting the Shuvalov Palace on the Fontanka River which houses the world’s largest collection of works by Carl Faberge.

Hermitage Museum Tour
Founded in 1764 by the Russian empress Catherine the Great, the State Hermitage Museum is one of the oldest and largest art galleries in the world. It houses more than 2.7 million exhibits. During the tour you will visit 4 buildings of the Main Museum Complex: the Winter Palace, Small Hermitage, Old Hermitage and New Hermitage. You will see works by Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Roden, Rembrandt, Rubens, etc.
18.00 drive back to the hotel or exploring the city at your leisure.
Day 3. St Petersburg
Excursion to the Tsarskoe Selo
No one visiting St Petersburg should miss out on a day trip to its suburbs. Tsarskoye Selo, located 30 km south of St Petersburg, became the official summer royal residence in the middle of the 18th century. The Catherine Palace – a sumptuous representative of the Russian Rococo style – is a stunning royal retreat well-known the world over. The splendor of the palace is magnified by the beautiful park surrounding it. Enjoy the chance to see elegant state rooms as well as the opulent Amber Room.
Lunch at the local restaurant and departure to Peterhof.
Peterhof Palace is famous for its series of palaces and gardens, also known as Petrodvorets. Sometimes it’s referred as the “Russian Versailles” and as one of the “Seven Wonders of Russia.” Being the most valuable national cultural object it is also designated as the UNESCO World Heritage. The architecture and décor of Peterhof Palace reflects all the artistic styles of the past and the personal tastes and preferences of Russian monarchs.
Day 4. St Petersburg – Kazan

After breakfast at the hotel and check-out, transfer to the airport.

Excursion to Kazan Kremlin
Kazan’s striking Kremlin is the UNESCO World Heritage Site and the main historic citadel of Tatarstan, which chronology can be traced to the period of Ivan the Terrible, Russian Tsar. It’s a crossroad where ancient and modern cultural traditions blend together and two religions – Moslem and Orthodox – have been intertwined for almost 500 years. Get inspired with the impressive history, facts and legends.
National Museum of the Republic Tatarstan
The imposing building from the 18th century, just opposite the Kremlin’s main entrance, accommodates the National Museum of the Republic Tatarstan. A worthwhile collection is represented by jewellery, weapons, archeological excavations & artifacts that exhibit the history of the Tatar people.

Day 5. Kazan
Excursion to the Great Bolgar
This is a city where the local population accepted Islam in year 922. Bolgar invites you to travel back in time, when the Volga Bolgarians inhabited this area. This region used to be called “Country of cities” and it counted about 250 small towns. The biggest one was “Great Bolgar” for its exceptionally favorable geographical location. The town became a part of the cultural heritage, and Volga Bolgaria is considered by many Tatars to be a predecessor state of the Khanate of Kazan.
Do not miss The Red, Black and White Chambers and eastern baths, Cathedral Mosque and Big Minaret of the Khan Sepulcher, The Northern and the Eastern Mausoleums.
Lunch in Chingizhan restaurant. Return to Kazan.

Day 6. Kazan

Excursion to the Island-town Sviyazhsk
The history of the settlement goes back to 1551 when Sviyazhsk was founded as a wooden fortress. The island preserves historical and cultural monuments, such as Assumption Monastery of the Blessed Virgin, Sviazhsky Cathedral, John the Baptist Monastery with the Trinity Church.
