This tour presents a classic journey across two stunning countries, featuring the finest hotels and immersive cultural experiences. An alternative to the Vietnam land portion is a 4-night Lotus Mekong cruise from Ho Chi Minh City to Phnom Penh. In this case, Siem Reap and Phnom Penh will be swapped, with departure from Siem Reap.

Day 1. Arrival in Hanoi
Arrival at Hanoi airport. Meet your guide and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation. Free time.
Day 2. Hanoi City Tour (B, L)
  • Visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Turtle Tower
  • Explore the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long
  • Visit the Temple of Quan Thanh and the Temple of Literature
  • Stroll along the famous Railway Street
  • Enjoy a guided street food tour (lunch included)
  • Free time for shopping
Day 3. Halong Bay Cruise (B, L, D)
  • Embark on a cruise in picturesque Halong Bay with its emerald waters and dramatic limestone peaks
  • Kayaking and visit to a spectacular stalactite cave
  • Optional culinary workshop on board
  • Evening meditation practices
Day 4. Halong Bay – Flight to Siem Reap (B, Brunch)
  • Sunrise on board with traditional Chinese gymnastics
  • Visit Tung Pearl Farm and learn about pearl cultivation
  • Disembark and transfer to Hanoi airport for your flight to Siem Reap (no guide)
  • Meet your guide on arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 5. Tonle Sap Lake – Floating Village – Ta Prohm Temple (B, L)
  • Half-day excursion to Tonle Sap Lake with a stop at a lotus farm
  • Discover the rural life of fishermen in Chong Kneas village
  • Canoe ride through floating houses (20 min)
  • Lunch at a local restaurant
  • Visit Ta Prohm, the iconic temple overgrown with massive trees
Day 6. Culinary Experience – Angkor Wat – Apsara Show (B, L, D)
  • Half-day cooking class including a visit to a local market and lunch
  • Short walking tour along the river to the Royal Residence

  • Traditional Apsara dance show with dinner at the Apsara Theatre
Day 7. Art Tour – Angkor Thom – Gondola Ride – Phare Circus (B, L)
  • Morning art tour: Artisan d’Angkor & Theam’s Gallery with lunch stop
  • Visit Angkor Thom, the ancient capital with the smiling faces of Bayon Temple
  • Sunset gondola ride around Angkor Thom with a drink
  • Evening performance at Phare Circus – a blend of acrobatics, theatre, and music, showcasing Cambodian talent and culture
Day 8. Banteay Srei – Kulen Mountain – Beng Melea (B, L)
  • Visit Banteay Srei, the “jewel of Khmer architecture”
  • Continue to Kulen Mountain and the River of a Thousand Lingas
  • Explore a 16th-century monastery with an 8-meter reclining Buddha
  • Participate in a cleansing ritual at the monastery’s foot
  • Visit the caves once home to hermit monks
  • Enjoy a refreshing swim at a waterfall
  • Explore the jungle-covered Beng Melea temple
Day 9. Optional Tours – Free Day (B)

Day 10. Flight to Phnom Penh – Introduction to the Capital (B)

  • Cyclo ride through central streets
  • Sunset cocktail at the city’s highest sky bar with panoramic views

Day 11. Royal Palace & Silver Pagoda (B)
  • Guided visit to the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda
  • Afternoon optional: 2-hour visit to Toul Sleng Museum, National Museum, or Sosoro Museum (entrance + transfers included, guide not required)
