This 9-day tour gives visitors the opportunity to discover 3 of Spain’s greatest cities. We begin in Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia and the city of Gaudi. View some of his greatest accomplishments. A train ride brings us to Madrid, the capital city and home of the Prado Museum. Another train ride brings us to Seville, the capital of Andalusia and home to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Founded as the Roman city of Hispalis, Seville sits on the lower reaches of the Guadalquivir River.

Day 1 Arrival in Barcelona
Upon arrival in Barcelona, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 2 in Barcelona
Discover Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia with a hop-on, hop-off bus tour. You have the choice of three different routes with 44 stops. In the evening consider an optional Tablao El Cordobes Flamenco a well-known Flamenco show venue with dinner. (B)
Day 3 in Barcelona
The entire day is free at leisure. You may be interested in our optional tour to Monserrat, an important religious shrine and the national symbol of Catalonia. Next is Girona, a city in northern Catalonia where you can take part in a Game of Thrones tour. Located 100 km. north of Barcelona, Girona is a must for any Game of Thrones fan. Or a Girona, Figueres and Dali tour. (B)
Day 4 from Barcelona to Madrid
After breakfast transfer on your own to the Barcelona train station where you board a high-speed train to the capital city of Madrid. Upon arrival, transfer on your own to your hotel in Madrid. Free day to start exploring or to visit the Muso del Prado considered to house one of the finest collections of European art in the world. (B)
Day 5 in Madrid
Today enjoy the open-top double-decker hop-on/hop-off bus tour. Two routes cover the highlights from historical sites and monuments to the modern Madrid of skyscrapers and cosmopolitan architecture. In the evening, you may consider joining an optional “Tapas walking tour” or a “Flamenco Show & dinner”. (B)
Day 6 in Madrid
Full day free at leisure. Some optional tours we would recommend are a visit to Toledo to discover the city of the three cultures; a tour to Avila and Segovia to visit the Royal Escorial and Valley of the Fallen or a visit to the Royal Palace of Aranjuez. (B)
Day 7 from Madrid to Seville
Today transfer on your own to the Madrid railway station where you board a high-speed train to Seville. Upon arrival transfer on your own to your hotel in Seville. The rest of the day is free to start exploring. (B)
Day 8 in Seville
Discover the highlights of Seville, the capital of Andalusia with a hop-on/hop-off bus tour. There are eight possible routes covering the city’s most important sites such as Pabellon de la Navegacion. This impressive riverside building houses an interactive museum focusing on maritime navigation. Or the Casa de la Ciencia, the headquarters of the Spanish National Research Council. Or perhaps the Iglesia de Santa Ana with its beautiful interior of white with gold and pink. Inside you will find many examples of religious artwork. (B)
Day 9 Depart from Seville
Your Independent Journey ends today and you will be transferred to the Seville airport. (B)
