Breakfast with the Hotel Bayerischer Hof team followed by a hotel inspection. Discover Munich and explore some of the renowned Christkindlmarkts (Christmas markets), where you’ll experience the festive atmosphere and local crafts.
Overnight in Munich.
Day 4 | Tuesday | Nov 26, 2024
Munich – Neuschwanstein – Innsbruck
Travel from Munich to Innsbruck (approx. 3 hours and 45 minutes). En route, stop for a visit to the iconic Neuschwanstein Castle. Built by “Mad King” Ludwig II, Neuschwanstein is a fairy-tale castle set amidst the solitude of the mountains. Your guide will provide insights on how to tailor this experience for your clients.
After lunch (TBD), continue your journey through the Austrian Alps to Innsbruck.
In the afternoon, enjoy a private guided tour of Innsbruck. Explore the charming Old Town (Altstadt), the Golden Roof (Goldenes Dachl), the Imperial Palace (Hofburg), and the Baroque Cathedral of St. James. Visit the Christmas market and sample mulled wine and “Tiroler Kiachl,” a local specialty.

Day 5 | Wednesday | Nov 27, 2024
Innsbruck – Salzburg
In the morning, visit Swarovski Crystal Worlds, a dazzling attraction blending art, innovation, and craftsmanship. Afterward, travel from Innsbruck to Salzburg (approx. 2 hours and 30 minutes). Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at your hotel.
In the afternoon, embark on a private guided tour of Salzburg. Visit historic landmarks such as the Hohensalzburg Fortress, Mirabell Palace, Getreidegasse, the Cathedral, and locations from the film The Sound of Music.
In the evening, participate in a cooking class and concert. You’ll create traditional Austrian dishes, including pretzels, Austrian speck dumplings (or cheese dumplings for vegetarians), and apple strudel. Enjoy live performances of timeless Austrian musical classics during dinner.

Salzburg – Hallstatt – Melk – Vienna
Travel from Salzburg to Vienna (approx. 4-5 hours) with a stop in the charming town of Hallstatt. Continue through the scenic Danube Valley, with another stop at the stunning Baroque Melk Abbey, which offers breathtaking views of the Danube River and beautifully decorated halls and manicured gardens.
Arrive in Vienna and check into Palais Coburg Residenz/ANDAZ Vienna Am Belvedere.

Explore Vienna with a private guide, including its Christmas markets.
Check into The Ritz-Carlton/Hotel Imperial.

Day 9 | Sunday | Dec 1, 2024
A private transfer will take you from your hotel to Vienna airport. Flight AF1239 to Paris departs at 6:15 AM. Arrive in Paris at 8:30 AM. Flight AF 356S to Toronto departs at 1:45 PM. Arrive in Toronto at 4:15 PM.
