Shore excursions in St.Petersburg


Day 1:

Pick up at the sea terminal at 8:30 am; drop off at the sea terminal by 6:00pm. Start your day with a panoramic tour of St. Petersburg, the city of islands, canals, bridges and palaces. Visit the Peter and Paul Fortress, the oldest building in the city.

Proceed to St. Isaacs Cathedral – the main church of the city. Visit this imperial cathedral with its opulent interior and huge gold dome ranked 4th place in the world among the highest domed cathedrals.

Visit the Church of the Savior of Spilled Blood.
Enjoy lunch at an authentic Russian restaurant (not included in tour price).

In the afternoon visit the famous Hermitage Museum, the former home of tsars that contains a collection of more than three million works of art and artifacts from all over the world.

Return transfer to the ship.

Day 2:

Pick up at the sea terminal at 8:30 am; drop off at the sea terminal by 6:00pm. Visit the opulent Tsar Village, a summer residence of the Russian Emperors with its beautiful pavilions, lakes and gardens.

Enjoy a tour of the stunning Catharine Palace, built by Peter the Great for his wife (early entrance to the museum is included). After lunch (not included in the price) drive to the summer palace of Paul the First in Pavlovsk. Stroll through one of the largest landscape parks in Europe.

Return transfer to the ship.
